BMW gives a sneak peek of the i8's spectacular 7K display
It will be tomorrow, Wednesday April 20, when BMW will unveil its long-awaited luxury electric sedan to the world at an online event. Before that happens, and to whet your appetite, the Bavarian manufacturer has just leaked a new image that, this time, shows us The spectacular 8K panoramic screen of the i7 available to rear seat passengers.
BMW has not yet revealed its size but, as can be seen in the image, it seems to be of generous dimensions and with a aspect ratio similar to the best movie theater you can imagine. The Bavarian manufacturer has also included some of the most common video streaming services today, such as Amazon Prime Video or Twitch, among others; which will allow you to enjoy the best content during any journey.

Image quality is also guaranteed. BMW claims that the spectacular panoramic screen of the i7 will offer 8K resolution, larger than that of the vast majority of screens that any of us can have in our living room. The question now is whether the owners of this luxury electric saloon will prefer to sit next to the violator, as would be usual, or travel as passengers and have someone else drive.
This new image leaked by BMW comes after the Bavarian manufacturer previously showed us a preview of the front of the vehicle with the brand's renowned central grille fully illuminated.
In one word: outstanding
As far as the i7 specifications are concerned, some rumours suggest that BMW's new luxury electric sedan will offer a WLTP autonomy of more than 600 km, thanks to the generous capacity of its battery pack, which could be around 120 kWh. It is also not ruled out that a high-performance M version of the i7 could be launched, which if it becomes a reality could far exceed 500 kW of power and be capable of reaching 100 km/h from a standstill in around three seconds.

BMW will officially present its new luxury electric saloon tomorrow, Wednesday, alongside the new combustion-engined 7 Series, at an online event that will be held simultaneously in New York, Munich and Beijing. It is scheduled to start at 12:00 PM GMT, in case you want to make time in your schedule to watch it live. We, of course, are not going to miss it.
