What can we expect from the new KIA EV9?

As far as the technical specifications of this new electric SUV are concerned, we are already waiting to know all the details officially at its presentation, as far as we know the South Korean manufacturer will offer five versions with different levels of equipment and autonomy, which will vary between 354 and 467 kmRear-wheel drive versions will offer around 150 kW of power from their single electric motor, while those equipped with a dual electric motor and all-wheel drive could deliver around 300 kW of combined power.

These same South Korean media outlets also claim that KIA plans to produce other electric models in the coming years at the same Gwangmyeong plant from which the EV9 will be produced. In fact, they even go so far as to speculate that these electric models could be the EV3 and the EV4.

Although it is not yet known which market segment they would belong to, given the nomenclature used we can imagine that they could be two urban electric vehicles of more or less compact size.
