KIA announces pricing for EV9 electric SUV in Europe

KIA will initially sell only two versions of the EV9 SUV in Europe, both with the higher-capacity 99.8 kWh battery pack. The launch edition of the EV9 It will have a base price of 74.990 euros. This version has a single electric motor on the rear axle with 150 kW of power. In addition, the South Korean manufacturer will also market a GT Line launch edition, which will increase the combined power of its two electric motors to 283 kW. This version, which will obviously offer all-wheel drive, It will have a base price of 80.423 euros.

Customers who wish to do so can configure the vehicle with some additional options, thereby increasing the prices we have just mentioned. The KIA EV9 will come as standard configured with seven seats: two in the first row, three in the second and two in the third. For an additional 600 euros it will be possible to opt for a six-seat configuration., replacing the three seats in the second row with two seats that can also rotate. As far as we know, Kia will not offer any further equipment options on the two launch versions. The South Korean manufacturer will, however, charge an extra 800 euros if a metallic paint colour is chosen, and an additional 1800 euros for matte paint finishes.
