KIA releases some images of the final version of the EV9 SUV
We were already looking forward to checking how it had evolved. that first prototype of the EV9 The car was unveiled at the end of 2021 at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and the end result has not disappointed. The South Korean manufacturer gathered the media in Seoul on Wednesday to show them the final design of the final production version of its new electric SUV, thus anticipating its official presentation. which will take place at the end of this month.
KIA has not wanted to reveal any technical details about the EV9 at this time, however, as it will be during this event that it will reveal its complete specifications. We can therefore consider this first meeting with the press as a preview of what awaits us in just a couple of weeks.

As we can see in the images, the final version of the EV9 that we will soon see on the streets It maintains all the essence of that first prototype presented in 2021, introducing only a few small differences essential to bringing a vehicle like this into production.
No one can doubt that the EV9 has its own personality
The production version of the EV9 sports a slightly simpler design, with somewhat softer lines. As expected, the manufacturer has also been forced to get rid of the "suicide doors", replacing them with much more conventional ones.

Inside, the changes are much more noticeable, with a much more realistic interior design than the futuristic vision that the South Korean manufacturer intended to show with that first prototype of the EV9. As in the EV6, KIA has chosen to integrate a dual 12.3-inch screen -each one- that extends across the dashboard from the driver's area. The sober, yet modern design also enhances the feeling of being in a spacious and comfortable space.
The best place to enjoy with family or friends
And speaking of spaciousness, another detail that points precisely in that same direction is the possibility of rotating the second row of seats 180 degrees, thus creating a meeting area for the third-row occupants. Because, yes, although we hadn't mentioned it yet, the EV9 is a six-seat electric SUV, spread across three rows of seats.

Do you want to know more about the KIA EV9? We certainly do... The South Korean manufacturer has achieved what it was looking for, to capture our attention. We will be attentive to its official presentation in a couple of weeks and, of course, we will tell you everything that happens there here on DrivingEco.
