The Japanese manufacturer has just announced that, thanks to the revision of the powertrain scheme based on SkyActiv X technology, cars manufactured from 2021 that use the new e-Skyactiv X engine will have not only more power, but also more torque.

Thanks to the experience gained from the development, design and assembly of 2-litre displacement engines SkyActiv-X and that, based on their performance, announce a consumption typical of diesel blocks but that are powered by gasoline, the Mazda's new e-Skyactiv X engines They will offer an increase of 11 HP in power, up to 188 HP from the current 177, at a speed of 6.000 revolutions per minute and an increase in torque of 16 Nm up to 240, from the 224 available, at 4.500 rpm and which will be enjoyed by vehicles equipped with these mechanical hearts from 2021.
