Rivian finally arrives in Europe with Amazon
The first Rivian vehicles are about to hit the streets of some European cities. E-commerce giant Amazon has just announced the imminent deployment of its new electric car in Germany. Amazon currently has about 500 units of Rivian's EDV electric delivery van in the United States, operating in more than 500 cities across the country. The EDV 500 is a 6.3-metre-long van with a wheelbase of just four metres. Its width, on the other hand, is 1.8 metres, making it much more suitable for use in European cities than the EDV 700, which reaches 7 meters in length and is not easy to maneuver in somewhat narrow streets.

Amazon claims that the European version of the EDV 500 van It has already been tested in Germany by some of the company's drivers during the last year..
