This is what is happening in Germany where BMW has announced that it will install up to 4.100 new electric dispensers before the end of 2021. With this strategy, the Bavarian firm aims to achieve two primary objectives.

On the other hand, BMW wants to offer employees of the Group's different brands that use electrified vehicles, a network where they can plug in their company cars, knowing in advance the location of such sites and thus making the journey and recharging efficiently.

BMW chargers for Germany

The up to 4.100 new BMW charging points that will be installed and put into operation in a plan that will have as the deadline for its resolution in 2021, will be of two types.

On the one hand, those that manage alternating current, AC, will have a power of 11 kW, while those that manage direct current, DC, will offer 50 kilowatts.

These BMW electric charging stations will be located in key areas For the brand, Munich will be one of the locations where these energy dispensers will be found.

Other places where they will also have BMW chargers are present For electric cars, these will be Berlin, Leipzig, Regensburg, Landshut, Wackersdorf and Dingolfing.
