These are the differences between the Turbo and Turbo S versions of the Porsche Taycan
The Turbo and Turbo S versions of the Taycan are the only ones that will be available initially, so it's important to analyze how they differ.
Simply spectacular. If we had to summarise the feeling that these two Porsche Taycan units, armed to the teeth, give us as we roll at full speed around the difficult Nürburgring Circuit, it would be that it is simply spectacular.
And now that the legendary track has resumed its normal activity following the end of the lockdown imposed by the German authorities, not only have the brands met again to fine-tune their latest-generation machines (and, in the process, take a look at those of their rivals), but local fans have also been able to vent their need to ride around the track and release adrenaline, something similar to what the two Porsche drivers did, but with the pressure of doing so with a single objective: to improve the previous record.
So, as we can see in the video of one of our spotters from the head, enter the different and varied traffic of private vehicles, racing cars and development cars with their usual 'zebra' liveries, Two Porsche Taycans sneak in almost without any kind of qualms.
In fact, one of the signs that can make them different from a private Porsche Taycan is the roll cage they install, an unequivocal sign that these cars are not ordinary production cars but are machines designed, configured and manufactured to be subjected to extreme tests in which the risk of accident, as always when entering a circuit, whether in competition or a track day, exists.
Aside from these details, the two test units of the Porsche Taycan glide stealthily but in a forceful and precise manner between the curves of the route and achieve an acceleration that has little or nothing to envy other vehicles with combustion engines, although it should be noted that it is true that it is relatively weak to see a car with this behavior without the roar of a good engine reaching the physical limits of his endurance.
Now we have to wait for Porsche to report on whether this was the moment when one of its cars broke its own track record or whether it was simply a test run. an even more powerful and sporty version than the Porsche Taycan Turbo S itself of 720 CV.
