As confirmed by Invicta Electric, the EVUM eCar is the result of a research project carried out at the Technical University of Munich in 2013. The project managers at the time, Martin Šoltés and Sascha Koberstaedt, did not want the electric vehicle they had developed to remain an idea and launched the research project into industrialisation by creating EVUM Motors GmbH.
