The FIAT 600 is back, but this time it's electric

The Italian manufacturer has decided to revive one of its most iconic models, probably thinking that this way it can achieve a success similar to that achieved with the electric 500; one of the vehicles with this propulsion system that has sold the most in many European markets in recent years. With 4.17 metres in length, the new FIAT 600 is obviously a step above the 500, sharing the e-CMP2 platform with the Jeep Avenger and with a future Alfa Romeo model that will hit the market in 2024.

At first glance, the prominent 600 logo on the front of the vehicle, replacing the manufacturer's own, is particularly striking. It is only possible to determine that we are looking at a FIAT model if we look at the rear. That said, the peculiar design of the FIAT 600 will make few people doubt the origin of the vehicle.

The Italian manufacturer claims that the new 600 can accommodate up to 5 adults in relative comfort, with 360 litres in the boot for luggage. FIAT promises, on the other hand, just over 400 km of autonomy under the WLTP homologation cycle, thanks to the battery pack that it is equipped with with a capacity of 54 kWh. In urban areas, however, it will be possible to cover even more than 600 km.

If the FIAT 500 was too small for you, now you have no excuse

When recharging, the manufacturer announces a maximum supported power of 100 kW at a direct current fast charging point. Enough to increase the battery pack charge to 80 percent in less than half an hour. Another notable fact from the technical specifications sheet of this model is its 115 kW power engine, which allows it to reach 100 km/h from a standstill. in about nine seconds.

The interior of the vehicle is perfectly equipped, with a seven-inch digital screen on the instrument panel and another 10.25-inch screen for the infotainment system. There is also a sound system with six speakers, climate control, adaptive cruise control, rain sensors and automatic lights.
