First hints about the price and specifications of the KIA EV9
With just a few weeks to go until the official presentation of the Korean manufacturer's new electric SUV, some clues have just come to light about what we can expect from this new vehicle, based on a survey that KIA has sent to some of its customers in the United States.
The questions in this survey suggest, for example, that the EV9 could be priced in the North American market. between 56 thousand and 73 thousand dollars.

Likewise, everything indicates that KIA could offer five versions of its new electric SUV based on the E-GMP platform, with ranges that They would be located between 220 and 290 miles. That is, between 350 and 470 km. Figures that are quite close to what is expected for a vehicle like this, given its size and weight.
An entry-level version with rear-wheel drive and a single electric motor is not out of the question.
On the other hand, the survey sent to some of KIA's customers in the United States refers not only to versions with dual electric motors and all-wheel drive, but also to the availability of a version with a single 150 kW electric motor on the rear axleIt remains to be seen, however, whether this rear-wheel drive version will ultimately become a reality.
In any case, we can expect the power of the all-wheel drive versions to reach up to 300 kW; while the battery pack should exceed the 77.4 kWh capacity of the one we can find in the other electric car based on the brand's E-GMP platform, the EV6Unfortunately, the survey sent by KIA to its US customers does not offer any details about the battery pack.
