Lamborghini Revuelto: this is the brand's first plug-in hybrid
The legendary Italian supercar manufacturer is already preparing the successor to the popular Aventador. His name is Scrambled, in honour of a bull that jumped into the stands at least eight times in the bullring of Barcelona in 1880, according to the manufacturer. Lamborghini wanted to establish a relationship between this brave and rebellious animal and its new supercar.
With the Revuelto the company has finally embraced electrification, since This is the first Lamborghini model to feature a plug-in hybrid propulsion system.. Which makes it a very special vehicle.

With a combined output of just over a thousand horsepower, the Revuelto combines a V12 combustion engine located at the rear of the vehicle with three electric motors; two of them with 110 kW located on the front axle and the third in the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. However, the reduced capacity of the battery pack chosen by the Italian manufacturer for this supercar is striking, with only 3.8 kWh of capacity.
As far as its technical specifications are concerned, its acceleration is worth highlighting. According to the manufacturer itself, the Revuelto is capable of reaching 100 km/h from a standstill. in just 2.5 secondsIts top speed is no joke either, reaching 350 km/h.
The Revuelto is just the beginning. There is no turning back now
With the Revuelto, electrification has arrived at Lamborghini to stay. The Italian manufacturer intends to have its entire product range fully hybridized by the end of next year, and the brand's engineers are already working on the first fully electric Lamborghini, which will presumably reach the market around 2028.

According to the current head of the brand, Stephan Winkelmann, the new Revuelto represents a turning point in the history of the Italian manufacturer, and is an important first step in its electrification strategy. According to him, it is a unique and truly innovative vehicle, which at the same time maintains all the DNA of a Lamborghini. The Revuelto was born to break all moulds, he says, combining a V12 combustion engine with hybrid technology, thus offering a perfect balance between the emotions our customers seek and the need to reduce emissions.
