IONITY's network becomes the best option for recharging the battery of a Porsche Taycan
As has Audi recently madePorsche has just updated its charging rate on the IONITY network. The German firm has just confirmed that its customers They will only have to pay 33 euro cents for each kWh consumed, instead of the standard rate of 79 cents per kWh consumed that IONITY will begin applying starting tomorrow.
Owners of a Taycan also have Free access to the Porsche charging service for the first three years, meaning they will be able to recharge their vehicle's battery in Europe's largest ultra-fast charging network at an extraordinarily competitive price. However, once these three years have passed, the cost of accessing the Porsche charging service will be 179 euros per year.

Charging at the IONITY network will therefore be particularly attractive for Porsche customers, given that using any other charging point offered by the company's charging service will be considerably more expensive.
It will not be unusual to see more than one Taycan at IONITY stations.
Charging at a Porsche service charging point outside the IONITY network will cost 0.39 euro/kWh, to which a surcharge must be added depending on the time spent recharging. This additional amount will depend on the power of each of these charging points, ranging from 5 euro cents per minute for alternating current charging points to 45 euro cents per minute for ultra-fast 350 kW charging points.
