Zero Motorcycles Renews Its Range of Electric Motorcycles for 2021

The new 2021 range is led by the manufacturer's two most current electric motorcycles: the Zero SR/S and Zero SR / F.

Both models are equipped with a battery of 14.4 kWh capacity, with which they move an 82 kW engine that offers a maximum torque of 190 Nm. In this way, they are able to reach a maximum speed of 200 km/h. Which is, of course, not bad at all.

The Zero SR/S and SR/F also use the same platform, recently developed by the manufacturer, thanks to which they are able to offer outstanding on-road performance. In addition, both models run on the new Cypher III operating system of the brand, which will also come in the form of an update to models from previous years.

What is it then that differentiates them?

According to Zero, the SR/S is its first all-out sportbike, which gives it a significant aerodynamic advantage over the SR/F. This translates, according to the manufacturer, into Its autonomy on the road is up to thirteen percent higher. Thus, while with the SR/F it is possible to travel about 320 km on a single charge, With the SR/S we will go 42 km further. That is, 362 km in total.

The 2021 Zero SR/S will be available in two colors, blue and gray, and its price in the United States will start at $19.995 for the basic version. A higher version is also available for $21.995.

The 2021 Zero SR/F will also be available in two color combinations: black and silver, or mint green and red. Its price is slightly cheaper, as it will cost $19.495 the basic version and $21.495 the superior version.

An electric motorcycle for every type of customer

Zero Motorcycles' 2021 lineup also includes new colors for the SR model, which will now be available in red and black. With the same 14.4 kWh battery, This model offers a range of 359 km, with a lower price starting at $15.495.
